Faculty have prepared instructional materials for student baseline assessment in accordance with our Applied Behavior Analysis model, and set up multiple learning spaces to accommodate student learning in generalized settings. Additionally, our instructional and therapy faculty will be incorporating web-based instruction/supports and iPad initiatives throughout the school year in order to facilitate 21st century learning for our students.
We are looking forward to continuing our model of a "school without walls" through systematic provision of community-based instruction, skill generalization in local and home settings, and an onsite after-school program.
We anticipate another productive year with our parents, including a continuation of our Project Parent Participation from the 2011-2012 school year. Some of the family events planned for this school year include fundraising events, Spring Carnival, Helping Hands Volunteer Program, Movie Nights, Mothers Day Tea, and Fathers Day Picnic.
We welcome you to visit our program and/or contact us for information about our school programs throughout Bergen County.
