It is my pleasure to welcome you to the VISIONS Integrated Middle School Program located in the barrier-free Saddle Brook Middle School/High School in Saddle Brook. Our innovative program for students with multiple disabilities affords students in grades Seven through Eight the opportunity to learn in an inclusive environment. Here with their grade-level peers, students receive the intensive instructional adaptations, assistive technology, augmentative communication, and environmental supports they need to ensure academic success in a typical school setting.
Our curriculum is aligned to the grade-level New Jersey Core Curriculum Content Standards. Instruction is provided by a highly trained and experienced staff who work collaboratively with the general education faculty to ensure an optimum educational program for each and every student. All students are included in both academic classes and specials. They participate in every aspect of school life, including classes, lunch, assemblies, field trips, and special activities. Supports and modifications are available as needed so that each student experiences progress and success.
In this unique partnership, the VISIONS Middle School as well as the Saddle Brook Middle School/High School staff are dedicated to providing an inclusive educational model that enhances the education of all. It is so exciting to experience the growth and development both academically and socially of all students.
