History fair showcases kids' in-depth projects

Bergen County Special Services School District held its Annual History Fair at the Brownstone School. The event was an absolute success. The Bergen Record made an appearance and has written a wonderful article. Our esteemed County Executive Dennis McNerney made his way to the History Fair and watched the countless interactive activities. Rockleigh Rehab SmART Choices Group

For the past two months, a small group of clients met with Workshop Assistant, Cheryl Fantacone to study cultural art and to engage in autobiographical art. To make this a memorable experience, all five senses were engaged. This was accomplished using images accompanied by a client driven discussion, music from the culture the images depicted, hands on art making and the enjoyment of a snack from the culture studied.
