Behavioral Skills Continuum - Evergreen The Evergreen Program has moved to its new location in Leonia HS where we have met with a welcoming environment and wide variety of opportunities for our students. The EG program serves students seeking an inclusive environment but need more extensive supports. EG serves as a "school within a school" allowing for students who have a more fragile makeup to maximize their inclusive experience while receiving support of specialized staff and a full time psychologist. We strive for academic achievement, individuality, self expression, creativity and social integration while offering modified class in an atmosphere that is supportive and nurturing. The collaboration with Leonia provides our student with a wide range of academic classes including several World Languages and Science with labs and a multitude of highly motivational electives. Extra curricular activities, clubs and sports are available to all EG students. All EG classes are aligned with Leonia's curriculum in text, activities and scope and sequence. All classes are aligned with New Jersey core curriculum standards. HSPA tests are administered according to state guidelines. Evergreen students follow the Leonia High School calendar and grading system. Report cards are issued for each of the four marking periods with progress reports issued mid-marking period. School hours are 7:50A.M - 2:58 P.M Evergreen Program is located at 100 Christie Heights Street, Leonia NJ 07605 www.leoniaschools.org |
