Our 10th annual Roll-A-Thon benefitting the Park Ridge Elks was both successful and a lot of fun! Due to inclement weather, students and staff gathered in the gym where they walked, rolled and biked to the incredible sound of the Hackensack High School Honor Society Band, raising funds and awareness for the Elks. This year’s Roll-A-Thon raised over $1,200 and helped send Bleshman students to Camp Moore. The Roll-A-Thon was followed by a Tailgate Party celebrating the opening of football season, and the President’s Fitness Challenge. Special guests included Dr. Howard Lerner, BCSS Superintendent; James. J. Tedesco, Bergen County Executive; Dr. Joan M. Voss, Bergen County Freeholder; Gary Lentini, President BCSS BOE; Steve Pasternak, Dept of Ed. Bergen County Office Supervisor; Tara Bohan, Director of Instruction and Sharon Herman of the Park Ridge Elks. Many thanks to our incredible CAC and School Spirit Committee, for making this event so successful.
