Superintendent Message

Dear Parents, Guardians, and Community Members,

The holiday season is in full swing at Bergen County Special Services.

Students and staff throughout the district are busy putting the final touches on their holiday observances. It is a pleasure for those of us in Central Administration to visit our different school sites and participate in the various activities taking place. Whether we are attending the BELA Day Care holiday show, visiting our Career Crossroads students to sample their fresh-baked holiday cookies, or enjoying a concert performance, the spirit of the season is evident everywhere we go.

We recently hosted our Bergen County Special Services Expo at the Brownstone School in Saddle Brook. Two workshops were presented for the approximately 100 education professionals who attended the event. To view a PowerPoint presentation of our workshops on dyslexia literacy and current legal trends in education, please visit the District News section of our main page.

On behalf of the faculty, staff, and administration of the Bergen County Special Services School District, I’d like to take this opportunity to wish our students, families, and the community a joyful holiday and best wishes for a happy and healthy New Year.

Sincerely,
