Professional Development PLUS Follow-Up Support – PD Package 

Follow-up support is a key component of professional development and is considered critical to the effective implementation of technology use in the classroom.  Our affordable package provides your staff with a two hour workshop (at your district) with an additional two hours of on-site individual or group support scheduled at a later date.  With follow-up support and coaching, your staff will be more likely to retain and apply the technology skills learned during the workshopWorkshops and follow-up support can be tailored to your district’s specific needs.     Click Here for a copy of our ETTC workshops that will give you a sampling of our professional development capabilities.

Assistive Technology Consultation (Student)

An individual student consultation is less formal than a full evaluation, yet includes a review of records, observation and direct contact with the student in the classroom.  Suggestions are made in a short written consultative format for technologies that may provide academic support. A perfect proactive solution for students who present with moderate academic challenges. 

Classroom/School Consultative Services

On-site Assistive Technology (AT) consultative services for staff (teachers, therapists, CST) and students on an hourly/daily basis. Allows districts to find AT solutions for struggling students on an as-needed basis.  We can also provide a “classroom” consultation and make suggestions for technologies that will support students with different needs.

Technology Hardware Support in the Classroom

SMARTBoard, Computers and iPad support for your classrooms including instruction, maintenance and trouble-shooting on an as-needed or ongoing basis. 

Technology Classroom Instruction for Students 

Our technology professionals can provide instruction to your students through a variety of courses including: Preparing for PARCC, Learn to Code, Robots, and Google topics as well as computer technology content designed to meet the special needs of your students. We are available for single classes, short term courses, or classes that meet on a weekly basis throughout the school year.

Assistive Technology Evaluation (Student)

An Assistive Technology evaluation is a thorough assessment that includes a review of records and intake questionnaires from the entire educational team, consults with teachers and therapists as needed, and direct student contact. The student will have the opportunity to trial both hardware and software during this evaluation. A full written report is provided with specific recommendations for hardware, software and training as well as goals for utilization.

Follow-up support integrating assistive technology into the student’s learning environment as well as software modifications to meet changing student needs.

Equipment Rentals

Laptops with assistive technology software and iPads with apps are available for rental on a monthly or yearly basis.
